More than a million rooms in the Netherlands sit empty, while tens of thousands of people search for an affordable home. That is why Daan, Joost and Maurits revived an old Dutch concept in 2019: the hospita. Personal, safe - without laying a single brick.

Searching and signing up are free. As a tenant you only pay after a successful match. Renting out is completely free - no match, no costs.
We meet every host in person and check during the intake whether the host and the accommodation meet our requirements. If they do not, we do not list the room.
Can I rent out a room as a housing-association tenant?
Yes, as long as you have permission from your housing corporation. They can advise you on what is and is not allowed. Hospi Housing works closely with many housing corporations in the Netherlands, so we can almost always help you.
